This clothes cabinet was designed by Vichr & spol. in the 1930s and later manufactured by Kovona in the 1950s in the former Czechoslovakia. The piece represents residential furniture from Central Europe shaped by Bauhaus-influenced modernist principles, with an emphasis on clarity, function, and restrained detailing. The cabinet is made of oak wood and features chromed metal elements. The chrome surfaces are well preserved, while the wooden structure remains solid. Overall wear is consistent with age.
