These identical hall coat racks were made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s and produced by DREVOTVAR. Material: plywood, wood, leatherette, metal. It can be mounted on the wall or laid freely on the floor.
It is a characteristic example of Czechoslovak furniture design in connection with the so-called Brussels period. This period began with the huge success of the Czechoslovak Pavilion at the world-famous EXPO in Brussels in 1958.
The coat rack is in very good original condition, showing signs of age and using.
