This writing desk No. H-178 comes from the 1930s from the Bauhaus period. It was designed by legendary Jindrich Halabala for the ÚP Závody Brno and and is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished and desirable works of this world-renowned and respected designer. It´s made of wood with walnut veneer and features eight drawers with chrome handels and with pull-out plate in the center. The table stands on a massive black lacquered legs. There are currently not many of these pieces on the market today. The table is completely refurbished, polished to high gloss using polyurethane.
