This bedroom set is a beautiful and characteristic example of Czechoslovak furniture design in connection with the so-called Brussels period. This period began with the huge success of the Czechoslovak Pavilion at the world-famous Expo in Brussels in 1958. It is characterized by a modernist design and lightweight materials that greatly facilitate the handling of furniture. This bedroom set was made in the 1960s. It has undergone a complete refurbishment while retaining all original features. The black lines were highlighted, the wood was sanded and varnished and the colored parts were also newly varnished. The furniture is in excellent condition
