These Czechoslovak lounge midcentury armchairs No.24-23 were designed by František Jirák for Tatra Nabytok in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960´s. The design of these chairs followed the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at the Brussels Expo 58. The armchairs features an original bent plywood armrests and the wooden structure is in beech veneer. The upholstery is in original condition, showing signs of age and using. Fabric abrasions in a few places, but they can be easily sewn up.
