Paire de fauteuils, Alan Fuchs, années 1960, Tchécoslovaquie
A stylish and timeless pair of retro armchairs designed by Alan Fuchs in the 1960s for the experimental “Invalidovna” housing project in Prague. Produced in the former Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, these pieces reflect a minimalist design approach characteristic of the era.
The armchairs feature a solid wooden frame with clean and geometric lines. They remain in very well-preserved vintage condition, showing only minor abrasions consistent with age. Both are sturdy and ready to use, requiring no renovation.
An excellent representation of 1960s Czech modernist furniture, balancing simplicity, function, and refined form.
