This popular and well-known wingback chair attributed to the Czech designer Miroslav Navrátil. This chair was designed in the context of the world-renowned exhibition EXPO in Brussels in 1958, where the Czechoslovak pavillon was a phenomenal succes.
Glass laminate frame covered with latex foam and woven textile. Wooden legs fixed in place with a cross wire. Acclaimed at the 12th Triennale di Milano in 1960.
The chair is generally in good original condition, the fabric shows signs of wear and age
