Bauhaus chair S43 by Mart Stam, 1930s

This chair is one of the famous and was designed in the 1930´s by Mart Stam and made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1950´s. The chair feature frames made from tubular chrome-plated steel, plywood seats and backrests lacquered in dark brown. The seat is newly varnished in black. The chrome at the bottom shows signs of age and using. The chair is overall in good condition.
