These armchairs was originally designed by W. H. Gispen in 1933 for Thonet. Then were produced under Thonet licence by Mucke Melder and Kovona Company in the Czechoslovakia. The armchairs are in excellent condition, expertly renovated metal frame, newly coated armrests lacquered with high gloss polyurethane, completely new upholstery. About S-411 Thonet armchairs: First designed in the late 20's and produced by Walter KNOLL under the reference K 411. Then manufactured by THONET under the reference S 411.
