This folding sofa was made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1950´s. We attribute the design of the sofa to the famous Czechoslovak architect Jindřich Halabala. Very attractive and simple design. The construction is of solid wood in oak veneer. Overall in very good condition, it bears signs of age and use. Upholstery is in original preserved condition, has a slightly faded surface and small scratchers.
