A striking Czechoslovak modernist lounge set from the 1970s–1980s, consisting of a two-seat sofa and two matching armchairs. The set stands out through its clean-lined silhouette, deep green upholstery, and elegant metal base construction, giving it a refined architectural presence.
With its button-tufted backrests and seats, sharply defined armrests, and light metal framing, the ensemble captures the restrained character of late modernist Central European design. The proportions are compact yet comfortable, making the set suitable for a range of interiors, from private apartments to curated hospitality or office spaces.
The visual identity is strong and highly marketable: crisp, geometric, functional, and unmistakably vintage. Compared with heavier traditional lounge furniture, this set offers a more versatile and internationally legible design language, making it especially suitable for platforms focused on collectible vintage and decorative 20th-century interiors.
An excellent choice for buyers looking for authentic Eastern European modernism with a clean profile and distinctive color presence.
Condition wording:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of use. Minor wear may be visible on the upholstery and metal elements, consistent with age, while the set remains structurally sound and visually attractive.
