Fauteuil à oreilles du milieu du siècle par Miroslav Navratil, produit par TON, années 1960
A popular and well-known wingback chair attributed to the Czech designer Miroslav Navrátil. This chair was designed in the context of the world-renowned exhibition EXPO in Brussels in 1958, where the Czechoslovak pavillon was a phenomenal succes.
The design of this chair it´s also attributed to Czech designer Magda Sépová. It features a high backrest that creates a feeling of comfort and it is made of fiberglass and coated with a fabric that is elastically glued to this material. Characteristic are also metal legs, typical of the mid-20th century furniture design. The armchair is generally in good original condition, only the fabric shows signs of wear and age in a few places. Look at the pictures.
