Designed by Emile Guyot and manufactured by Thonet during the 1930s, this plant stand is an excellent example of Bauhaus and Functionalist design. The lightweight tubular steel construction reflects the innovative furniture designs of the period, while the three-tier arrangement provides practical display space without compromising the airy, architectural appearance.
Crafted from chrome-plated tubular steel with colored glass shelves, the stand remains in very good vintage condition. The chrome retains a bright finish with only minor signs of age and use, while the glass shelves are well preserved. The piece is structurally sound and ready for everyday use.
