Retro-Kommoden für den Wohnbereich, 1960er Jahre (tschechisches Design)
This set of retro cabinets was produced in Czechoslovakia during the late 1960s to early 1970s, a key manufacturer of modern Czech furniture of the period. The design reflects the functional elegance of mid-century Central European interiors, combining practicality with clean, timeless lines.
The cabinets are crafted from veneered wood with a high-gloss lacquer finish and stand on slender metal legs, giving them a light and modern appearance. Each unit features double doors with an internal shelf, two drawers, and a tilt-down compartment, offering versatile storage while maintaining a balanced, architectural form.
Both pieces are preserved in very good original condition. The structure is solid, surfaces are well maintained, and only minor signs of age-related wear are present. No renovation is required, making this set ideal for immediate use in vintage, modern, or eclectic interiors.
