Midcentury Nightstands by Nový Domov, Czechoslovakia, 1970s – Set of 2

This pair of wooden nightstands was produced by the national enterprise Nový Domov, Spišská Nová Ves, in the former Czechoslovakia during the 1970s. The clean lines and minimalist design reflect the modernist functionalism of the midcentury period.

Each piece features a solid construction with elegant geometric legs and distinct rectangular handles. One cabinet contains four drawers, while the other offers two compartments with doors, making them suitable not only as nightstands but also as occasional storage units in various interiors.

Both are in very good original condition with light signs of use. Original production label on the reverse confirms the origin and specifications.
