This desk was designed by Helena Frantova and produced by Okolo in the 1950 in the former Czechoslovakia. This Helena Frantova tripod table lamp exists in several colours; green, blue, yellow, red… This table lamp exists in several variations. Made with a different base en slightly different lamp socket holder. The lampshade is always the same. These beautiful table lamps are often used in pairs as bedside lamps. Today, you can hardly do that because you rarely come across them. Nowadays they are mostly used as a desk lamp. Materials: 3 brass rods. Red painted conical metal (iron) lamp socket holder. Silver painted iron lampshade holder. Round plastic mushroom, cone lampshade. Metal E14 socket. Height: 24 cm Lampshade: ∅ 25 cm Electricity: 1 bulb E14, 1 x 40 watt maximum, 110/220 volt. Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred. Period: 1950s – Mid-Century Modern. Manufacturer: Zukov, Czech Republic.
