This chair was designed in the context of the world-renowned exhibition EXPO in Brussels in 1958, where the Czechoslovak pavillon was a phenomenal succes.\n The design of this chair it´s also attributed to Czech designer Magda Sépová. It features a high backrest that creates a feeling of comfort and it is made of fiberglass and coated with a fabric that is elastically glued to this material. Characteristic are also metal legs, typical of the mid-20th century furniture design. The armchair is generally in very good original condition, only the fabric shows signs of wear and age in a few places.
