This rotating piano stool was produced by Thonet in the early 20th century, during the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It is a fine example of the brand’s iconic bentwood craftsmanship, which revolutionized furniture-making across Europe.
The stool features a round rotating seat supported by a central turned column and four curved legs joined by a circular stretcher. It is stained in a dark brown tone and shows a beautiful, natural patina. The construction remains solid and functional, a testament to the long-lasting quality of Thonet’s production.
This piece is not only a historical piano stool but can also serve as a side table, plant stand, or decorative accent in vintage or eclectic interiors.
