This iconic pair of armchairs was designed by the renowned Czech designer Jindřich Halabala, whose work significantly influenced modernist furniture design in Czechoslovakia and across Europe. The H-269 model, often referred to as “Type C,” is one of his most celebrated designs, prized for its elegant curved shapes and exceptional comfort.
The chairs retain their original upholstery, which is in good preserved condition, shows signs of age and using-minor damages on the fabric. The wooden elements are also original and well-preserved, without damage. The distinctive wide bentwood armrests add not only aesthetic charm but also provide high stability and comfort.
Thanks to their timeless functionalist design, Jindřich Halabala’s armchairs are a perfect choice for collectors and vintage furniture enthusiasts seeking a stylish and comfortable addition to their interiors.
