These Czechoslovak lounge armchairs No.24-23 were designed by Frantisek Jirák for Tatra Nabytok in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960´s. The design of these chairs followed the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at the Brussels Expo 58.
The armchairs features an original bent plywood armrests and the wooden structure is in beech veneer . These items are in very good Vintage condition, bears signs of age and using.
The upholstery is original, each chair has a different color of upholstery, but this used to be quite common. A pair of armchairs used to be made both in the same color, and in two colors.
