Fuly restored mid century bentwood armchairs by Frantisek Jirak for Tatra n bytok, 1960s

These Czechoslovak lounge armchairs No.24-23 were designed by Frantisek Jirák for Tatra Nabytok in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960´s. The design of these chairs followed the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at the Brussels Expo 58. The armchairs features an original bent plywood armrests and the wooden structure is in beech veneer. These items are in excellent condition, fully refurbished including new filling and fabric and the wood has been refinished and varnished.
