Brutalist Opaline Glass Chandelier by Karel Wolf for Osvětlovací sklo, 1970s Czechoslovakia Lighting
A striking Brutalist chandelier with a bold sculptural presence, defined by its raspberry-toned opaline glass and clean chrome construction. The combination of materials creates a strong visual contrast typical of 1970s Central European lighting design.
This chandelier was designed by Czechoslovak architect Karl Wolf in the 1970s for Osvětlovací sklo. It reflects the Brutalist design language of the period, focusing on material honesty, geometric form, and expressive structure.
Made of red opal glass and a chrome metal frame. The piece is in excellent condition, fully functional, and has been newly rewired for safe use.
