Czechoslovak Mid-Century Sofa by Interiér Praha, 1960s – Red Bouclé
A Czechoslovak mid-century sofa manufactured by Interiér Praha in the 1960s, upholstered in a deep red flecked bouclé and built on a warm blond hardwood frame. A clean-lined three-seat sofa with a beautifully figured wood-veneer back panel.
The frame is solid light beech with a beautifully figured wood-veneer back panel, finished with brass corner details and slim tapered legs typical of the period. The upholstery is the original vintage bouclé – a dense, textured weave in a rich red that sits between crimson and burgundy.
Condition is very good. The cushions have been professionally cleaned and the wooden frame is in great shape, with light, age-appropriate patina.
