Chromed Bauhaus sofa or daybed, Czechoslovakia, 1930s

Chrome Bauhaus sofa made in pre-war Czechoslovakia between 1930 and 1940. It is a popular so-called tubular furniture, which became famous in the 1930s for its simplicity and practicality. The sofa has a chrome finish in very good condition without visible damage. Mattresses are not original but more or less fiting the sofa. Mattresses are in their original relatively good condition with signs of age and use. The sofa can be supplied with or without mattresses.
