An authentic set of 2 industrial dining chairs designed by Joseph Mathieu, showcasing the functional elegance of early 20th-century French design. Their sculptural steel construction and beautifully worn orange finish make them striking statement pieces for both residential and commercial interiors.
Designed by Joseph Mathieu and produced in France during the 1920s, these chairs embody the honest craftsmanship and practicality of classic industrial furniture. Their iconic silhouette and perforated steel seats make them ideal for dining spaces, cafés, lofts, or curated vintage collections.
Crafted from painted steel, the chairs retain their original orange finish with a rich, naturally aged patina. They are in good vintage condition, showing wear, paint loss, scratches, and oxidation consistent with age and use, adding to their authentic industrial character.
