This desk with accompanying task chair originates from a high-quality American modular furniture set produced during the 1960s–1970s. The desk is characterized by its solid proportions and careful craftsmanship, with a veneered top featuring a chevron (herringbone) pattern that highlights the natural wood grain and reflects the refined detailing typical of American furniture from this period.
The desk is constructed from wood and provides a generous work surface suitable for both everyday use and representative interiors. A drawer block on the right side offers practical storage and smooth operation, while rounded edges and well-finished details contribute to the cohesive and balanced overall design.
The set includes an original period task chair with a swivel base on wheels, a metal structure, and upholstered seat and backrest. The chair corresponds stylistically and functionally with the desk and the broader modular system from which the set originates. The desk and chair are offered together, though the system consists of multiple modules that may also be available individually.
