This atomic age floor lamp was designed in 1973 by Hungarian designer Tibor Hazi and made in Hungary in the 1970s. The lamp is made of orange opaque glass with a matte surface and and a chrome construction. The rounded shape of the lamp is related to the Atomic Age, the period when round futuristic shapes entered applied art. When switched on, the lamp creates a pleasant diffused light. The lamp is fully functional, in good original condition, the chrome shows sign of age and using with a few chrome surface defects, but nothing significant.
