Dining Chairs Set, Mid-Century, TON Model 514, Radomír Hofman, 1960s, Czechoslovakia

Pair of TON Model 514 Dining Chairs – Radomír Hofman, 1960s

Listing Description (English):

Offered here is a pair of original TON dining chairs, model 514, designed by Radomír Hofman and produced in the 1960s in Czechoslovakia. The original factory label from UP Závody Rousínov, Plant 4, is preserved on the underside, confirming the authenticity and origin of these mid-century pieces.

These chairs feature a classic mid-century silhouette with a curved plywood backrest and shaped seat. The original upholstery is intact – a textured red fabric that pairs well with the light tone of the beech wood frame. The structure is solid, and the chairs are in good vintage condition with natural patina and light wear consistent with age.

Model 514 is a notable design in Czechoslovak furniture history and works beautifully in modern, vintage, or eclectic interiors. Price listed is per pair.
